On 11th August 2025, the Kochi International Foundation hosted a special session at Reccaa Club, titled “The Woman Behind the Steel Arc”, celebrating the remarkable women whose vision and leadership shaped an iconic engineering marvel. From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, attendees were inspired by powerful stories of resilience, groundbreaking innovation, and unwavering determination. The session highlighted the journey of these trailblazing women, showcasing how their contributions not only redefined engineering excellence but also paved the way for future generations to dream beyond boundaries.

Future of Mobility in Kochi

On 4th August 2025, Kochi International Foundation (KIF), in association with Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and the Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), co-hosted an interactive session on “Future of Mobility in Kochi.”

Held at the Kerala Management Association (KMA) premises in Panampilly Nagar, the session brought together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss innovative and sustainable transport solutions for Kochi. Discussions focused on urban mobility challenges, global best practices, and integrated strategies to build a smarter, greener, and more accessible city.

Transformative Constitutionalism And The Role of The Judiciary

On 11th April 2025, Kochi International Foundation (KIF), in association with the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), co-hosted a special talk on “Transformative Constitutionalism and the Role of the Judiciary.”

The session was led by Hon’ble Chief Justice (Retd.) Dr. S. Muralidhar, who shared profound insights on the evolving role of the judiciary in upholding constitutional values, ensuring justice, and driving social transformation. Drawing from his judicial experience and landmark judgments, Dr. Muralidhar emphasized the importance of progressive interpretation of the Constitution to safeguard individual rights and promote inclusive development.

Hydrogen mission and other new energy initiatives in Kerala

On 13th March 2025, Kochi International Foundation (KIF), in association with St. Albert’s College, Kochi, organized a session on Hydrogen Mission and New Energy Initiatives in Kerala.

Shri K.R. Jyothilal, Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Government of Kerala, led the discussion, highlighting Kerala’s advancements in green hydrogen, renewable energy policies, and carbon neutrality. The session explored government initiatives, key projects, and Kerala’s leadership in India’s clean energy transition.
